Today in awesome: Christopher Lee says Happy New Year

January 5, 2012 at 8:06 am (Awesome) (, , )

Happy New Year, Christopher Lee, ye of the eternally sexy voice. I hope you live long enough to see the Hobbit movies out.

(Here’s Mr. Lee pretending to be dead, and doing other cool things).

In part 1 he talks about the state of the world, appearing in Wicker Tree, Hugo (calling Martin Scorsese ‘Marty’ n__n),  Dark Shadows (with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp); playing Saruman the White in The Hobbit; and turning 90 years of age.

Here he talks about the honors he received last year, including joining the likes of Alfred Hitchcock and Charlie Chaplin as a recipient of the BAFTA Fellowship Award (and the single shit-tastic moment of coming out to accept it).

Hooray for GeekTyrant for putting the vids up n__n.

And because once I start posting about Christopher Lee I can’t stop, here’s his speech upon receiving the BAFTA Fellowship Award.
